Formed in 2022, Brass Connection is a dynamic chamber quintet based in Los Angeles. The ensemble emerged from a collaboration of brass artists who met while performing, educating, and freelancing throughout the Greater Los Angeles area.
The quintet's members initially collaborated as Teaching Artists for the Los Angeles Philharmonic's YOLA (Youth Orchestra Los Angeles) music education program. Coming from different countries, they unite to use brass music as a connective thread between diverse audiences and communities worldwide.
Brass Connection believes that artistic expression is the universal language that harmoniously unites people across diverse backgrounds. Their mission is to forge connections that transcend borders, languages, and cultural divides through captivating performances.
Members have performed individually and as an ensemble at prestigious venues across the West Coast and beyond, including work in film and television productions.
